Your Teen’s Ocean Adventure Starts Here

A 5-day PADI SCUBA Certification Camp designed for curious teens ready to experience the ocean beyond the surface.
With expert instruction, small group sizes, and real dives in the Channel Islands, this is diving done the right way.

CAMP HIGHLIGHTS

  • $2,250 course cost includes:

    • All Snorkel & SCUBA gear

    • Lunch provided daily and breakfast provided on boat days (bring special meals as needed)

    • PADI Open Water e-learning course

    • Snorkel charter aboard Spectre Dive Boat to kickoff the week

    • Six boat dives to Channel Island National Park, including two bonus fun dives

  • Students receive PADI Open Water Certification after camp completion

  • Professional instruction with a maximum 6:1 student-to-instructor ratio

  • Emphasis on marine conservation and local fish identification

  • Portion of proceeds donated to the Channel Islands Park Foundation

  • 8:00AM - 4:00PM

    • Meet at Ventura Harbor to board Spectre Dive Boat

    • Snorkel charter to Channel Islands National Park


    Provided: Snorkel gear, egg sandwich breakfast, snacks, tri tip & veggie burger lunch, water, juice

    Bring: towel, swimsuit, special meals

  • 8:00AM - 4:00PM

    • Meet at Pool (dependent on class selection)

    • Complete swim test, begin underwater skills teaching, and finish with fun underwater games.


    Provided: All gear, snacks, pizza lunch, water, juice

    Bring: Towel, swimsuit, special meals

  • 8:00AM - 4:00PM

    • Meet at Pool (dependent on class selection)

    • Finish all pool skills and test buoyancy with underwater obstacle course.


    Provided: All gear, snacks, deli lunch, water, juice

    Bring: Towel, swimsuit, special meals

  • 6:00AM - 4:30PM

    • Meet at Ventura Harbor to board Spectre Dive Boat

    • 3-tank dive charter to Channel Islands National Park

      • 2 Open Water checkout dives

      • 1 guided fun dive focusing on marine conversation

  • 6:00AM - 4:30PM

    • Meet at Ventura Harbor to board Spectre Dive Boat
